2020 vape. Hey, welcome to a brand new decade, how exciting I've been gone for a month a month. I can't believe it. And the December kind of go to it crazy. And then I had a proper break over Christmas and new year, and it was actually really good because it's meant that I am totally refreshed and ready to kick off this decade massively. And I have some major announcements in this app, and I also want to talk to you about some really quick wins that you can do around money and wealth to set yourself up. Uh, they're like actionable and totally practical, uh, so that you can literally, if you haven't done it already make this year 2020, but also the start of this decade, a brand new life, like take a quantum leap pride. I want this to be like the start of a refreshed renewed, like possibility for you.
I am seeing so many shifts, um, in the community, in my community. Um, you know, from Instagram to the, to the group, to, you know, everyone reaching out on, um, you know, with the podcast and everything like that. And I'm seeing so much of you just stepping up and ready, so ready to make massive financial shifts in your life. And I think that you're starting to see that like you can be so in control of your finances and you can have an incredible financial future ahead of you, uh, and be confident and certain and proud about it and I'm loving it. I'm really, really loving it. And I want to share with you some massive things that are coming up in 2020, then I'm actually going to be bringing you as well. So I've stepped up in a massive way and happened last month in December.
Um, when I kinda hit, uh, a, a pause and not a break. And that was a really good moment to reflect on the year and look at what I've done with ms. Ralphie and where I've taken the community and what is ahead for the year ahead, not only for me and their business, but also who I serve, meaning you, um, and what I can do for you too, take you to the next level, because the faster and the better and the deeper I take myself to the next level means I can take you to that same place as well. Uh, obviously I do it with my clients and I do it with every one of the babes inside of investing bootcamp. And so the more I can bring you incredible staff, uh, and incredible breakthroughs, incredible hacks means that you can get to financial freedom faster too.
Right. Uh, so I'm going to share that with you. And right now I am recording this app per Sarde with massive wins outside. So if you hear some noise in the background, I'm just gonna push through it. I'm not going to get old perfectionists about it. Um, just know that they're like just some crazy winds. If you know, what's been going on in the country for the last month, uh, that you know, that Australia is plagued with intense bushfires across the country. Uh, and I really feel like in the last couple of days, it's being picked up properly to a proper scale, uh, internationally. And that has been largely in part to a lot of celebrities like realizing, uh, Celeste, Baba has millions of followers. If you don't follow her already, she's incredible woman. She's an Aussie woman, excuse me, I'm going to turn it off.
Um, she's an incredible woman. She's actually comedian. And she takes the piss, like takes, make fun of models and celebrities around the world, but she got so much traction and she does it in such a funny way that she just massively, massively grew over the last couple of years. Anyway, long story short, her family has had to be evacuated from some of the most intense areas in Australia where these bushfires are just ripping through and just, you know, like nothing you've ever seen before. And so she decided to start a fundraiser literally about 24, 28 hours ago. And her initial, my goal was to raise $2 million. Um, and that kind of got hit in the lot in like a couple of hours, like just mind blowing, right? So she raised it to 6 million and then she raised it again, like literally, I think it's been just over, maybe it's been like 36 hours now.
And it's just about to cross over the $25 million Mark. I am getting so sorry too emotional about this milestone moment. This is the first time I've gone. T-Ray on my own podcast. Um, honestly the pictures that like we're seeing the footage that we're seeing is it's, it's unbelievable. It really is apocalyptic it's okay. The most intense thing, Yvonne, um, they're five times bigger than the California fires in the U S they're like almost 10 times bigger than the Amazonian fires. It's just, it's on such a massive scale. Over half a million, half a million animals have perished because they just can't escape fast enough because the rate that these fires are literally ripping through the country than saying our country has been in doubt in drought for like years. So there's no rate, like, no, there's no wonder that, uh, this is happening. And climate change is a real thing.
If you don't believe in that you are welcome to leave this podcast right now, unfollow me unfriendly, leave the group, leave Instagram, because if this isn't proof enough that there is something wrong with how we are treating this globe, then yeah. We're not meant to be friends, but honestly it is just, it is so shocking. And I know I've got an attendant, but I got so emotional, just been watching everything. And luckily I live in the Eastern coast of Australia in Sydney, and it's obviously a populated area. So it hasn't hit. They are still close enough that our sky is sun is red. Our sky is just literally smoke haze pretty much day in, day out. And it's been like that for at least six weeks. Now my, the only person that has had to evacuate is my, that I know closely, closely, like I know friends or friends that have had to, but it is my sister in the blue mountains.
And they have had to evacuate their home for the second time now, uh, and bring, you know, what they can and what they're kind of don't want to lose and pack everything in a car. And they've parked at our house and they don't know if they're going to go back in their home's going to be gone or not. Um, because there are only 15 kilometers away, which is so freaking close, considering the embers traveling from these fires, uh, literally traveling, you know, 10 kilometers at a time they're traveling across like lakes and rivers, like massive amounts of water. They're just traveling and just starting a new fire. Something that footage that happened yesterday, this literally creates its own ecosystem. And then like little mini tornadoes or fire starts and then rips through and just starts new ones like volunteer. He is like literally firefighting volunteers, uh, fighting these cancer, causing carcinogenic Ash fires with no masks because there just isn't enough, uh, supply to go around and they're fighting them like literally with no mass.
And these mass cost cost $40 for like, that's it? That is not like there is a tiny amount of money. It is not life changing. And that is part of what these funds are going to, they're going to the wildlife because we have literally in one month wiped out, like, uh, we now have extinct animals because they're just gone and perished, like, you know, these animals are having to leave their babies and try and escape. Like, it's just, Oh, I'm getting so emotional about this because it's just like, this is what we're doing to the globe. Right. I just, so I've just donated to the fund. I've posted it on Instagram. I posted it on Facebook and I will post it in the show notes, because if this is something that is really hitting you and really important to, you know, I always believe in donating to the thing that you know is meaningful to you because it fills your soul up.
Right. And what are we doing with all this money that we're making and creating and building. If we can't like donate money to help something that is so much bigger beyond us. Um, so I'm going to leave a link for you to donate. It's got nothing to do with me. It doesn't, it doesn't pass my hands. Um, and, and yeah, because literally only $40, like literally makes the difference in someone's life that are literally going through the night and day, trying to fight these fires. And when you see the pictures, it's just like, when you see this little mini helicopter at the top compared to the size and scale that the fires are burning out, it's just, it's really hard to have hope, Oh, sorry, I'm getting emotional again about this. It's really odd to have hope. But then when you see like this, this fundraiser, that's right, it's like $25 million in not even two days, it gives you hope.
And that's what I love about money, right? Like for all of the crappy beliefs that so many of us have around money and the money stories that we will work on and everything that I work on with myself and my clients and all of these like stories that we face against El sales about L worthiness and deservingness, and that money's evil whore. I mean, he doesn't grow on trees and money's dirty. Like whatever it is always remember that the flip side is, this is what money can fucking do. Like you can donate a small amount and you do that on scale. And in like two days, $25 million has been raised to help like the, you know, the families of lives lost and the animals that are literally helpless because we're fucking up the world. Like I just always remember that money has that power and that potential and that it can be for good.
And that is what I love so much about when the community comes together and like people from around the globe that like, literally, I've never even been to Australia before, but just seeing and hit on the new cycle now, because it's just gotten so ridiculously out of control. Uh, you know, there's just like, I am so touched by the love and generosity from literally like, you know, strangers, right? My God, how emotionally getting about this, I'm literally crying. You guys, I'm not going to edit it out because I think that it's important to talk about and, and see, and know that like, you know, you can have an impact like anyway, anyway, my point was, I was talking about it outside wind. And part of the reason is because like the weather right now that is going on in this country is what is just damaging and amplifying the intensity of these fires because we are getting these crazy winds.
Everything is so dry, no rain, and it's just intensifying everything. So if you hear these massive like background noises, it's, it's just the wind. Um, uh, and, and yes, I'm just gonna, I'm going to push on and carry on. And I keep praying globally for the rain. And what I've seen recently is a lot of people doing these kind of like global, um, and a genetic pres for rain to come across the country. And, you know, I love that intention. It's so, so, so amazing when we all put back that thought process into something and encouraging that happening. I fuck. I hope it works. I honestly, I really, and I do genuinely believe so deeply in the energy and the power of the universe. And when you channel that thought and, you know, manifest that, and I just hope that it's power more powerful than what is currently ripping through the country right now.
So on that topic, I want to talk about manifesting. And that was part of what, uh, one of the big announcements was. Right. I know I've just been a lot of time talking about the fires here. I don't want money can do for the world. And I wanted, I want to talk about literally why it's so important, because the more money you make, you can impact the world, babe. Like you need to be so unapologetic about making money. And so unapologetic about being wealthy and literally like earning as much as you possibly can. And as much as you possibly want, because the more you do so, the more you can impact everyone else around you, the more you can donate and give and support and, you know, use it as, as a way to help others. And I know inherently that that exists within every single human being.
I know that like, that's within you. I know that's within you because I see it in every single person I meet or talk to or help or serve, or like, we all want to help someone else to some degree, right? Whether that is simply your daughter or whether that's your family or whether that's your community, or like, if you're passionate about, you know, wildlife or helping the planet, like whatever it is that brings you joy and lights, your soul alive, then it's even more reason for you to make more money. And this is, this really hit home for me, maybe actually coming up to about a year now a year ago, I saw an incredible guy speak on stage at a ClickFunnels event, which is like a, the business kind of platform, uh, like website platform that, um, that I use. And a lot of entrepreneurs I know you use.
And, uh, he was talking about how, you know, he was, he made a lot of money, like a few million dollars or whatever, uh, that year. And it was kind of the first time that he started to like really pick up business and that he then sent his head down, send his son to the war, like his, you know, his son wasn't listed in, um, the Navy and they, yeah, I literally had to go to war and yeah, he decided to donate, uh, a bunch of money to help the troops on that current mission, because it was really last minute. And then all funds were allocated and all this kind of stuff. And then fast forward, a few months later, they came back and what had happened was they were on a mission, his son and, you know, his friends in the, in the, in the troops, whatever.
And they had faced some like, really major stuff. And they had these like a gun blazers and like a bullet protectors and like special helmets and stuff that protected them from certain bullets. Right. And they want enough of them prior to going out to war. And the reason that he donated, like, I think it was like half a million dollars was to literally fund enough so that they could go out and buy these extra like helmets and extra protection gear, because it was just like, it's that these guys are going out into a war zone without the proper gear. Uh, but that's what happens when things are underfunded, right? So he literally donated so that his son and his son's, um, friends in that group could literally be protected. Three months later, they came back and his son's friend said to him, we got pinned down where, you know, like head to head with the enemy.
And we got like pin down and we couldn't escape. And, uh, a bullet got lodged in my helmet, literally in between like my eye and my ear. And if I wasn't wearing that helmet, that your money paid to buy, then like I would be dead right now. I would literally, like, I wouldn't be here because we didn't have this gear to go away on. We were sent out without it. And like, literally when this guy told this story about his son and him donating this half a million dollars, and I know that probably seems like so much too, to you, if you don't earn hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, right. But just like, think of how powerful and impactful it is when you go out and earn more money and you go out and change the world because of a tiny thing that you do.
Like, like the example I used before, $40 for a mosque, for a volunteer to, with who doesn't get cancer, like fighting fires that he's choosing to fight. Like when in reality, most of us won't eat. Like I can pretty much guarantee every single person listening to this right now will not miss $40 from their wallet or their bank account. Like if, if you have $40 less, or if you have like $40 more on your credit card, like whatever it is, I can pretty much guarantee every single person listening, what even notice that gone like seriously or out of your wallet, or, you know, wherever it is. And so like, you know, this is like, this is why it's so powerful. And I properly learned that lesson of stop being I'm playing so small when it comes to making an earning money and building wealth, like, and I've started to use the term becoming unapologetically wealthy.
I am so past the point now I do not give a flying F whether someone is going to judge me for knowing belly anything about me, because, you know, I am passionate and confident and, you know, wanting to go and chase better income, like making more money, like keeping more money, multiplying more, and like the avenues to do that properly. I am so unapologetic about it now because I properly understand the power of what money can do when you put it into like the right thing. And the right thing is whatever it's right for you, right? Like literally there's no right or wrong, but when you put it into something that is meaningful, like, think about the power you have in your hands every single day, when you direct that money to somewhere. Oh my God, I just realized I've spoken, but 20 minutes now.
Um, and I haven't even told you about all the big announcements, like what the hell. Um, but sometimes that happens. So I might literally just leave that there. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to create a new podcast episode and talk about the big announcements and talk about what I was going to around manifesting, um, and how that relates to you. And I'm going to then talk about these specific things that you can implement in 2020 to kickstart this decade. So if you're leaving me here, I'm going to put the link in the show notes to go and donate to this farm that I was talking about. Um, like I said, it doesn't, it doesn't touch my hands. Doesn't pass through me. It's got nothing to do with me. Literally it goes direct and it helps the families where people have lost lives.
Uh, two volunteers like literally doing it for nothing, the loss, their life fighting the fires, um, the 500 million animals perished and the, the families of these lives that have been lost, uh, all across the state. So that's where the money is going to, I'm going to put the show notes, anything as small as possible will help when I say and stay tuned for the next episode, I'm going to release them both at the same time. Um, and so that you can get two doses and stay tuned for the next one, because I'm going to be talking about how manifesting is going to be a massive focus in 2020. And it's going to compound on top of all of the practical wealth building stuff that I teach about. All right, babe, I'll see you over there.
